Emily Ontiveros

Emily is an artist & designer working to strengthen the connections between communities and their local ecology and watersheds. She is particularly interested in everything that informs the relationship between people and water in the west, and the ways in which that informs management and conservation. Emily uses drawing and painting as a way to stay connected with and understand the landscape. Having completed her Master's of Landscape Architecture at the University of New Mexico in 2022, she now works as a designer focused on ecological restoration of riparian ecosystems. Emily is currently based in southwest Colorado.
